Enjoy the unique experience of a La Mère Poulard hotel
The Auberge welcomes you to its homes
Staying at La Mère Poulard hotel means immersing yourself in the history of Mont Saint-Michel, so inseparable are the two. The Auberge La Mère Poulard embodies the Mont as much as it has contributed to its greatness. From the historic Auberge La Mère Poulard to Annette's houses, take a leap back in time with all the modern comforts.
Renowned for its hospitality, La Mère Poulard wanted to offer board and lodging to all travellers who came to the inn. Given the success of its omelette and the growing number of visitors, La Mère Poulard decided to acquire two real houses on the Mont.
La Maison Rouge, a magnificent typical house with its adjoining garden, and l'Ermitage, which was the last home of Annette herself (room 402 for the curious...). These houses will welcome you in 25 rooms, some of which open onto the bay of Mont, others onto the village or the Abbey.
Note that none of these houses has a lift, due to their age and authenticity. But the reward that awaits you is incomparable: spending a night on Mont Saint-Michel, a rare and magical privilege.
