A gourmet tradition born on Mont Saint-Michel

For over a century, Auberge La Mère Poulard has been delighting travellers with its famous omelettes and delicious sweet biscuits. Originally, these sweet treats were prepared at the Auberge and offered to guests looking for a gourmet break after their ascent of Mont Blanc.

Such was their success that these biscuits, initially exclusive to the Auberge, soon became a much sought-after speciality well beyond the ramparts.

To meet the demand, production has expanded in Brittany, 30km from Mont Saint-Michel, while preserving the know-how and authenticity of Annette Poulard's recipes.
